I taught preschool for 5 years, giving students the basic skills necessary for success in higher grades. I have tutored many students in basic reading skills and reading comprehension. Understanding what we are reading and being able to put thoughts down on paper are essential skills for success in all subjects and grades. I have worked with students of all ages, from preschool and elementary school, all the way to college. I love watching students of all ages gain confidence in their abilities and finding that success across all subject matters. Whether you or your student need help in learning to read, reading comprehension, writing or editing a paper you've already written, I am happy to help! I have a degree in English from the University of Connecticut, and I currently write press releases, website content and marketing materials for my current job.
